Hello to all reading this.

Just thought I'd try this whole journaling thing at least once, and I'm bored on top of that. I think I'll just kind of blab about whatever. Why not?
Well, here we go, here are random thoughts of mine:

I've started observing everyone at school slowly molding into high school cliches. (class clowns, "weirdos", jocks, etc...) Which I think is odd. I honestly thought they were for movies and stuff. I was wrong. But, on the plus side, more and more kids are maturing, at least a little. Some kids seem more serious about their schoolwork than before, which I'm glad about. I'm no teacher's pet, but I do like (or would like) to see a group of mature individuals actually becoming smarter than before. I just wish that my classmates would grow up a little faster though. I'm not sure how long I can take thinking "How immature" or "Grow up" at least twice a day. I mean, honestly, my favorite part of the school day is in the classroom, during class. At least then I don't have to worry about people doing stupid stuff like spanking each other (totally true! I've seen it!) or something. I don't have to worry about having to talk, which, I'll be honest, I have a problem with accomplishing. I'm just no good with social interactions with other human beings, especially if they don't understand what I'm saying, which is also adding to my obvious shyness. Whenever I do talk, no one usually understands me, mentally or otherwise. Then whenever I muster up the courage to do something out of my comfort zone, I end up looking like a complete fool. (fashionably, socially, etc...) I guess classtime also makes me feel smart, like I actually understand the material better than some others around me.

I read Seventeen Magazine, and I'll be honest, I love it. But at times it makes me sad, because they have a section of the magazine dedicated to makeup. I usually think, "Hey, she looks pretty with that makeup on." Then I usually just skip over the part where it tells you how to get that look, because what's the point? I'm never gonna get that makeup, and even if I do, I'll either be too chicken to use it or I'll make a complete idiot out of myself by wearing it. I see other girls at school with eyeliner and eyeshadow and stuff on, and usually one of the first thangs I think when I see it is how badly the makeup was done (I watch too much ANTM), and then I realize how old our class is becoming. Classmates wouldn't have worn makeup in 5th grade (unless you're a whore). We're in 8th grade. We're 14. That really scares me. It scares me to think that pretty soon I'll be driving and working, and it also scares me when other classmates start dealing with more mature issues. (dating, drugs, etc...)

So, to sum this entry up, classmates need to grow up, makeup makes me sad, and I can't communicate very well.
